ALBANY, N.Y. — University at Albany alum and NFL veteran Brian Parker has signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints, the team announced Wednesday.

Parker, a tight end at UAlbany from 2011 to 2014, has played with the San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and, most recently, the Denver Broncos.

With Denver in 2018, Parker played in 13 games, including one start. He has six career receptions for 39 yards.

Parker, from Henrietta, N.Y., and McQuaid Jesuit High School, scored seven career touchdowns with the Great Danes and posted 500 receiving yards as a senior, when he was named to the All-CAA Third Team.
