ALBANY, N.Y. — Following its first meet of the new year, UAlbany swept the America East Field Performer of the Week awards, with Lynda Brundige winning for the women and Devon Willis winning for the men.

Brundige earns her second weekly honors after turning in another strong performance last week at the Great Dane classic. The jumper from Buffalo, N.Y. placed third in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 39-10.50. 

Willis, a jumper from Schenectady, N.Y. won the triple jump at Ocean Breeze, recording a distance of 51-01.50. His jump currently ranks ninth nationally.

The Great Danes are back in action on Saturday, January 19, competing at Middlebury Winterfell in Middlebury, Vt.
