UAlbany makes 1,000 NCAA tickets free to students

ALBANY, N.Y. – Members of the University at Albany men's lacrosse team will be handing out donuts to students Saturday morning as they pick up their free tickets to the NCAA Tournament first-round game against Richmond.

A total of 1,000 tickets for Saturday's 5 p.m. faceoff are being made available for free to students, thanks to donations from the UAlbany Office of Advancement, Student Affairs and RC Fuller.

Students can get tickets between 10 and 11 a.m. at the Tom & Mary Casey Stadium north box office. If any tickets remain after 11 a.m., they can be picked up at the north gate box office beginning again at 3 p.m.

More than 4,000 tickets already have been sold to the game featuring the No. 2-seeded Great Danes and Spiders.
