ALBANY, N.Y. – For the fifth time this season, Tehoka Nanticoke has been selected as the America East Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

As a team, UAlbany 14 weekly awards, including Nanticoke earning six weekly honors off five rookie and one offensive player of the week awards.  UAlbany has at least one weekly award each week since February 19th, every week the team has played at least one game.

Nanticoke's weekly award comes after he led the team to a pair of home victories over Harvard, then ranked #19 in the Inside Lacrosse media poll, and rival Stony Brook.

The freshman attack combined for four goals and seven assists for 11 points in the two games, leading UAlbany in points in both games.  He had two goals and four assists in the victory over Harvard, following with two goals and three assists in the win vs. Stony Brook.

UAlbany hits the road for its next game, playing at UMBC on Saturday, April 7th at 3 p.m.
