UAlbany to honor those who serve with nameplates, tickets

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany football program will honor those who serve by having student-athletes wear the names of active and former military members as well as by allowing fans to donate tickets to veterans.

UAlbany will play its fifth annual Todd J. Clark Memorial Game on Saturday, Nov. 18, against New Hampshire.

Fans will have the opportunity to have an active or former military member's name displayed on the back of a jersey by CLICKING HERE. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 3; 98 nameplates are available.

Additionally, Great Dane Game Day will include military vehicles, and there will be a motorcycle motorcade by the American Legion Riders.

Fans also can donate $5 tickets to local veterans for either the Nov. 18 football game or Nov. 10 men's basketball season-opener by CLICKING HERE.
