Connor Fields Named Inside Lacrosse StringKing Player of the Week

BALTIMORE – After helping the UAlbany men's lacrosse team to its hallmark victory over Yale last weekend, Connor Fields was selected as the Inside Lacrosse StringKing Player of the Week.
The StringKing Player of the Week is voted on by readers of Inside Lacrosse. Fields earned 49% of votes to this week's award.
Fields finished with an eight-point day against Yale off three goals and five assists last Saturday. The sophomore attack also had the game-winning assist to Seth Oakes in overtime.
His performance also gained him America East Offensive Player of the Week honors. The Tewaaraton Watch List member has 36 goals and 26 assists on the season.
Fields and the Great Danes will take on UMBC on Saturday, April 30th at 3 p.m. in Baltimore.
