ALBANY, N.Y. -- UAlbany Athletics and SEFCU have joined together to form the first-ever Trunk or Treat event at Saturday's football game against Elon. Kids of all ages are invited to come and receive candy, as well as spend time interacting with various UAlbany student-athletes who will be on-hand and dressed up in their best Halloween garb. As a part of this event, kids 12 & under wearing a costume will receive a free ticket to the game at the gate. The Trunk or Treat event will begin at 10 a.m. in Great Dane Game Day and will end prior to kickoff.

Trunk or Treat is part of a continuing team effort by UAlbany Athletics and SEFCU to positively impact the children of our local community. UAlbany's Student Athlete Advisory Committee, comprised of representatives from all 18 athletic programs, generate over 2,500 community service hours each year. UAlbany Athletics and SEFCU hope to make Trunk or Treat a part of every Capital Region child's Halloween plans for years to come.  

As a part of the commitment for this event, UAlbany Athletics and SEFCU have donated over 700 tickets to local area schools for the game Saturday.

Please note, normal UAlbany football game day parking restrictions will apply. For all those coming to this event, parking will be available in the Dutch Quad Lot for $10.
