UAlbany Football To Have Four Games Featured In CAA TV Lineup

RICHMOND, Va. – CAA Football has finalized its television package for the 2015 season, and is again set to feature one of the nation's top lineups with partners NBCSN, NBC Sports Regional Networks and the American Sports Network.
The University at Albany football program will have four of its games featured in the bundle, including UAlbany's home-opener on Sept. 12 versus Rhode Island, marking the season's first conference matchup. The clash kicks off CAA Football's 2015 television package at 3:30 p.m. on American Sports Network (ASN).
The following Saturday, the Great Danes will travel to take on James Madison at 3 p.m. on NBC Sports Regional Networks/Comcast SportsNet.
Back at Bob Ford Field for two games on ASN, UAlbany hosts Villanova on Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m., and concludes the home slate against New Hampshire at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21.
CAA Football's broadcast partners will televise a total of 24 regular-season games in 2015. Four of the contests will be carried nationally on NBCSN. The Emmy Award-winning network is the 24/7 cable home for NBC Sports, and is available in more than 84 million households.
NBC Sports Regional Networks – which include CSN Mid-Atlantic, CSN Philadelphia, CSN New England and SNY – will carry 11 CAA Football games this season. NBC Sports Regional Networks deliver more than 2,400 live sporting events annually to over 43 million homes.
The CAA Football on American Sports Network package will include nine games this fall. ASN – the collegiate sports initiative of the Sinclair Broadcast Group – has affiliates that reach approximately 38.9-percent of U.S. households. Sinclair operates 162 television stations airing 376 channels in 79 markets, and has affiliations with all the major networks nationwide.
CAA Football's televised games will also be available on a variety of desktop, mobile, tablet and smart TV devices. NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group's live streaming product - will carry each of the NBCSN and CSN games at no cost to authenticated subscribers.
In addition, CAA.tv will provide free digital simulcasts of every ASN game, and of the CSN contests for out-of-market viewers.
Specific CSN and ASN clearances will be announced weekly throughout the season. CAA Football will release additional non-conference television details when they become available.
