Head women's soccer coach Mary-Frances Monroe has announced that walk-on tryouts for the University at Albany program will be held August 12-14. There will be two training sessions each day for interested students.
Open try-out dates/times are as follows:
August 12th
Morning session: 7am ? 9am
Afternoon session: 3pm ? 5pm
August 13th
Morning session: 7am ? 9am
Afternoon session: 3pm ? 5pm
August 14th
Morning session: 7am ? 9am
Afternoon session: 3pm ? 5pm
Housing will be provided on the night of August 11 through the second session on August 14. Housing will then ONLY be provided for those who are asked to stay for the remainder of preseason.
Those individuals expressing interest must complete and bring (1) complete NCAA compliance paperwork and (2) written documentation of an updated physical done by a physician at home, which states they are cleared to participate in athletic activities. The physical must be conducted no more than six months prior to the first day of tryouts. Individuals who do not provide both pieces of paperwork before the start of the first morning session will not be able to participate in the tryouts.

Students should come physically prepared to take part in fitness assessments, small- and large-sided games. Participants should bring their running shoes, cleats and shin guards to all six sessions.
