? University at Albany's Jean Juste and Luke Schoen have been named America
East Conference men's indoor track and field performers of the week, as
announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Each athlete was
recognized for the second time this season.
Juste, a junior from Hempstead, N.Y.,
has been selected as the track performer of the week. Juste placed second in
the 55-meter hurdles in an IC4A-qualifying time of 7.52 seconds at Boston University's
Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Boston U. Track & Tennis
Center. Juste, whose performance was the second-fastest in the America East
this year, was previously honored by the conference for the week ending Jan.

Schoen, a sophomore from Bohemia, N.Y., has been chosen field
performer of the week. Schoen placed second in the pole vault with a
record-tying and IC4A-qualifying height of 16-feet, 8.75-inches at Boston
University's Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Boston U. Track
& Tennis Center in Boston Mass. Schoen's performance tied his own school
record set at Yale's Giegengack Invitational on Feb. 2 and is the
second-highest mark in the America East this season. Schoen received his first
weekly honor from the America East for the week ending Jan. 20.
The Great Danes return to the track for a pair of
meets on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville,
Arkansas and a three-way meet at Binghamton University.
