Stony Brook had a 17-10 advantage in shots and had a 3-2 edge in cornerkicks. Maria Liguori made nine saves in goal for the Great Danes, while Marisa Viola made seven stops in net for the Seawolves to earn her eighth straight shutout.
UAlbany will return to America East Conference action on Thursday, Oct. 18 at Vermont. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
