Throughout his tenor at Tech, Henderson was the conference’s primary contact for the 2024 Sunshine State Conference’s Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championship hosted in Ocala, Florida. He has covered two of the Panther’s men’s swimming First Team All-Americans in Daniel Aizenberg (100 Yard back, 2023), and 2024’s NCAA Division II 200 Individual Medley National Runner-up Akos Hajagos.

With the Panthers' women’s lacrosse program, Henderson covered the team that reached No.19 in the 2024 IWLCA poll under first-year head coach Kelsey Richardson, the team’s highest ranking since 2021. In 2023, he covered the team’s most recent IWLCA All-American, Kailee O’Brien. Working with the men’s lacrosse program following the 2024 season, Henderson covered Ricky Fedorchak who, in one season with Tech, set the program’s single season caused turnovers per game record and later went on to earn USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention status along with, USILA Scholar All-American and CSC Academic All-American Honors.

Before traveling to the Sunshine State, Henderson worked at SUNY Brockport where he spent his time as an assistant in the athletic communications office since 2019. Starting as a photographer, he worked his way into an internship role in the athletic communications office under the guidance of the then Director of Media Relations and Athletic Communications Gil Burgmaster throughout his undergraduate years. Starting in the fall of 2021, Henderson was awarded the position of athletic communications assistant while working towards his post-graduate degree at SUNY Brockport until his departure in the fall of 2022.

During his time at SUNY Brockport, Henderson was the contact for the Golden Eagle's men's ice hockey, baseball, men's lacrosse, volleyball, field hockey, men's soccer, cross country, and track & field programs. Henderson produced press releases, collected and maintained up-to-date statistics and record books, promoted student-athletes and teams on social media and publications, and assisted in streaming game broadcasts. He was the primary contact for the 2022 NCAA Division III baseball Brockport Regional Round and multiple SUNYAC Track and Field Championships.

Additionally, Henderson worked on the Fan Experience Team for the Syracuse Mets from 2016-2021, and as Game Day Staff for the Rochester Americans in 2018.

Henderson graduated from SUNY Brockport with his Master of Science in Physical Education, Athletic Administration, in the winter of 2023, and he also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, with minors in Public Relations and Coaching, from SUNY Brockport in 2021.
