HIGH SCHOOL: Team Captain for the Saxons football team … Earned three varsity letters and helped the team to the playoffs in each of his three seasons … Named first-team all-district and all-region at both defensive end and tight end … Received the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player Award … Led the team in sacks (12), tackles for a loss, and QB hurries … Also had 26 receptions with six touchdowns as a senior.
