Hall Jr. was a three-year letter-winner at Harry S. Truman High School, where he also played football in his senior year as a wide receiver, defensive back, and running back. He was captain of the track team as a junior and senior, years in which he also won the team MVP award. He was named to the All-Borough, All-City, and All-State teams, and was an AAU All-American. He was a member of the 2012 Bronx Borough Outdoor Track championship team.
