High School
Middleton was a four-year letter-winner in track & field and cross country at Auburn High School, where he served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons.. He was an All-American in the 2,000m steeplechase.

Justin Middleton is the son of Josh and Lisa Middleton. He has two brothers, Jordan and Owen, and one sister, Leah.
