The Albany Cup is only a few days away and here’s how you can secure your
FREE student ticket to the game!
TICKETS
There are a total of 1,000
FREE student tickets for the game, with approximately 850 that will be available on gameday. Approximatley 150 tickets have already been claimed during the DANEger Zone Advance RSVP window. Tickets on gameday will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at MVP Arena. UAlbany students will need to show a valid UAlbany ID at MVP Arena in order to receive their tickets. To receive tickets, students will need to enter the main entrance of the MVP Arena and locate the DANEger Zone Tent on the second floor of the atrium, where UAlbany representatives will be available with tickets.
TRANSPORTATION
There will be four (4) charter busses available for students on Saturday, November 12th for the Albany Cup game. All busses will pick up students at Collins Circle prior to the game and will also drop off at Collins Circle following the game. Please see the bus schedule below...
5:30 PM 2 busses depart Collins Circle for MVP Arena
6:00 PM 2 busses depart Collins Circle for MVP Arena
6:30 PM 2 busses depart Collins Circle for MVP Arena
7:00 PM 2 busses depart Collins Circle for MVP Arena
Each bus is a 56 passenger bus, so each trip will allow for a maximum of 112 students to be transported from Collins Circle to MVP Arena. It is STRONGLY encouraged that students using bus transportation for the game plan to get to the game earlier to ensure their opportunity to get to the game. Doors open at 6:00pm on Saturday.
Immediately following the game, two (2) student busses will depart from MVP Arena back to Collins Circle. There will be one more wave of four (4) busses that will pick up students and transport back to Collins Circle approximately 40 minutes after the completion of the game.
