Women’s Tennis Heads To Cornell

ALBANY, N.Y.—After turning in a dominating performance against Marist last weekend, the University at Albany women’s tennis team will continue competition when they travel to Cornell University this weekend. The Great Danes will face Connecticut on Saturday, followed by Host Cornell on Sunday.
The Great Danes have already seen three competitions so far this season and are currently 2-1. They have had 7-0 wins over Rhode Island and Marist, but fell 7-0 to Boston College.
Cornell is currently 2-3 with recent losses to Princeton and Brown, who are both nationally ranked. The University of Connecticut is 4-0 in the dual match season with a recent win over Army this past weekend.
The face-off against Connecticut will begin on Saturday, February 13, at 11:30 A.M. at the Reis Tennis Center. Competition will continue on Sunday, February 14, at 10:00 A.M., when UAlbany takes on Cornell.
