Wallace Selected for IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – University at Albany graduate student Shonly Wallace has been selected to participate in the 2023 IWLCA Division I Senior All-Star Game, the organization announced Thursday.  Wallace will compete as a member of the North roster.

The Senior All-Star Games will take in Sparks, Md. on June 3 at Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters.  The Division I game will begin at 2:30 pm.  Admission to all games is free.

Wallace, an attack from Mission, B.C., spent her graduate season with the Great Danes, scoring 51 goals, the second-highest total on the team, and 56 total points, ranking fourth on the team.  She transferred from the University of Oregon, where, in 2022, she scored 40 goals for the Ducks.  Wallace scored a season-high seven goals at #18 Stanford, and scored five times in the America East title game against Binghamton.

For her efforts on the season, Wallace earned America East All-Conference First Team and All-Tournament honors.

Wallace is one of three America East players participating in the Senior All-Star Game, with New Hampshire defender Emma Alpaugh and UMBC attack Lauren Cremen, both of whom will play for the South roster.
