Great Danes Set to Host Binghamton in Autism Awareness Game

ALBANY, N.Y.- The University at Albany women's basketball team is set to continue conference play at home on Sunday, January 5 against Binghamton. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.
 
Autism Awareness
 
The game will be UAlbany's Autism Awareness Game, as there will be a sensory room sponsored by Bizzy Bees in the Hall of Fame room. There will also be a postgame clinic for children with special needs to raise awareness. 
 
In addition, the America East Conference released its latest edition of AE Voices on Friday leading up to UAlbany's Autism Awareness game on Sunday, which features Coach Mullen, and freshman Taniya Hanner. Coach Mullen's story centers around the autism diagnosis of her young twin boys and Taniya's focuses on her own diagnosis at a young age.
