ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany women's basketball program and head coach Kelly Morrone have released the Great Danes' 2026-27 season schedule. 
 
Fans can look forward to a packed home slate for Coach Morrone's first season at UAlbany with 15 games, plus a home exhibition game in October, at Broadview Center.

Those looking to renew their packages can do so by visiting their Ticket Return online accounts or clicking here. All tickets and Great Dane Athletic Club Preferred Seat Funds (GDAC PSF) must be paid in full by Thursday, October 29.
 
The inaugural season of the Morrone era will officially begin at Northeastern on November 2. Fans can experience Coach Morrone's first UAlbany team at an exhibition played at Broadview Center on October 29 before the season officially kicks off on the road.
 
"We wanted to challenge ourselves in a way that would prepare us for the demanding America East," said head coach Kelly Morrone. "This being our first year, we want to show our togetherness, toughness, and tenacity - not only to the region but also nationally, evident by the heavy hitters we have on the schedule."
 
The Great Danes return to Broadview Center for their official home opener as they host Manhattan (Nov. 5) and kick off the inaugural America East-Metro Basketball Challenge. Just three days later, the Purple and Gold will conclude the challenge at Mount St. Mary's.
 
Continuing a three-game road stand, UAlbany will face back-to-back Power Four opponents in trips to Ole Miss (Nov. 11) and Rutgers (Nov. 16). 
 
The Great Danes are set to close out the month of November with four home games in 10 days - Bucknell, Cornell, Union, and Stonehill.
 
UAlbany will visit Siena for the annual Albany Cup on Saturday, December 5 before returning home to face Colgate (Dec. 8). 
 
After heading to Hofstra (Dec. 12) and South Carolina (Dec. 16), the Great Danes will close out the non-conference season hosting St. Bonaventure (Dec. 19) and visiting UMass (Dec. 21). 
 
The Purple and Gold opens America East play at UMass Lowell on December 31. The first league contest at home is set for January 10 against Binghamton; it will start a three-game home stand.
 
The America East schedule will continue to roll with key matchups against each of the AE teams - Vermont, Maine, NJIT, UMBC, Bryant, Binghamton, and UMass Lowell. The Great Danes will close the regular season with back-to-back home games against New Hampshire (Feb. 25) and Maine (Feb. 27).
 
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the America East Tournament is set to begin on Thursday, March 4. The championship game will take place on Friday, March 12 after the semifinals on Monday, March 8.
