ALBANY, N.Y. – University at Albany men's and women's basketball single-game tickets for the 2026-27 season are now on sale. In addition, the programs have officially released their full promotional schedules.

Fans are invited to Broadview Center to cheer on the Great Danes as both programs compete for an America East Championship. The men's team kicks off the season at home against Rhode Island College on Monday, November 2. The women will open the 2026-27 slate with an exhibition game against St. Thomas Aquinas on Thursday, October 29 before hosting their first regular-season game at Broadview on Thursday, November 5 in the first game of the America East-Metro Basketball Challenge.
The 2026-27 season slate includes returning events such as Holiday Hoopla, Neon Night, Swiftie Day, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and the always popular United Way $5 Kids Day outings. Additionally, following the continued success of the Commitment to Education Day program, women's basketball will host, not one, but two games this season – November 18 and February 11.

The annual Capital Region rivalry, the Albany Cup, returns to Broadview Center on Saturday, December 12. The men's team looks to defend their home court and maintain their unbeaten record at home in Albany Cup matchups as they host Siena at 7:00 p.m. Later in the season, the Big Purple Growl and Ferocious Feast is locked in for Saturday, February 6, when the men's program hosts UMBC for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.Â
Both programs will welcome Binghamton to Broadview Center on Saturday, Jan. 9, for a special 2-for-1 Day. Fans who purchase one ticket will receive admission to both the women's and men's basketball games, with no separate ticket purchase required for the second game. The women's team tips off at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men's team at 4:00 p.m., giving fans the opportunity to enjoy back-to-back Great Danes basketball games with a single ticket purchase.
