Shereesha Richards to Compete in Pro-Select Games at 2016 Indianapolis Combine
2016 Pro-Select Rosters (Indy Combine)
INDIANAPOLIS – UAlbany senior forward Shereesha Richards is set to play as one of 40 in the Pro-Select Games at the 2016 Indianapolis Combine in the start of April.
The Pro-Select Games features 40 invited collegiate seniors and international players that will compete in games in front of talent evaluators from the WNBA and European professional leagues. The games will be on April 2nd and 3rd at the Incrediplex Gym in Indianapolis.
Richards recently finished up her collegiate career with UAlbany, earning America East Player of the Year three times and finishing with 2,440 points and 1,053 rebounds in her four years.
Of the participants in the 2015 Pro-Select Games in Tampa, 93% of the players later played professionally overseas or in the WNBA. Richards is seeking to be the first player drafted into the WNBA in UAlbany women's basketball history.
All events take place during the 2016 Final Four in Indianapolis.
