JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The NCAA East Preliminary Championships wrapped up on Saturday, with the final three of the University at Albany's 10 qualifying student-athletes seeing competition after a two-day wait.
All three athletes who competed on Saturday were entered in the triple jump. Alexx Baum competed first in the women's event, placing 42nd in 38'-7”. In the men's event, Jordan Crump-King placed 40th in 48'-3.5”. Devon Willis did not record a mark after fouling all of his attempts.
While several UAlbany student-athletes will continue to compete in meets over the summer, the conclusion of the East Preliminary Championships marks the end of the 2014-15 collegiate outdoor season for the Great Danes.
