Albany, N.Y.- Univeristy at Albany (7-5) travels to face Maryland (7-3) on Wednesday, Dec. 28 in the Comcast Center at 8 pm. This will be the first time that both of these programs face each other on the basketball court. Wednesday's game can be heard on Fox Sports 980 on WOFX-AM in Albany. Scouting Maryland
• Maryland, without Pe'Shon Howard through the first nine games, has averaged 67.4 points per game. The Terrapins won't beat you from beyond the arc only attempting 134 shots and making 41 of them but will beat you making high-percentage shots. They are shooting 42.8 percent from the floor and holding the opponents to 68.8 points per game keeping the scoring margin close to their margin (-1.4).
• The Terrapins have started to catch fire after starting the season .500 through the first six games. Maryland has now won four in a row to improve its record to 7-3, including a 78-71 win over Big East opponent Notre Dame.
• Maryland is finishing out its non-conference schedule with five games at home. This will be the Terrapins third of its final five games at the Comcast Center before heading to conference play.

• Stoglin is tied with Suero for sixth in the nation in scoring (21.5)
• Sean Mosley is the Terrapin's most accurate behind-the-arc shooter boasting a 40.6 shooting percentage (12-32 3FG).
• James Padgett, the Terrapin's 6-foot-8 forward, is averaging 9.4 points per game and grabbing 6.7 boards a game. Padgett is very accurate from the floor shooting 50.7 percent (36-71)
Capitalizing On Free Points
• UAlbany is cashing in on the free-throw line this year shooting 75.6 percent (205-271) putting them first in America East and 15th in the nation
• Gerardo Suero and Logan Aronhalt have been "money" when they go to charity stripe. Aronhalt is shooting an eye-popping 89.7 percent while Suero is close behind with 83.0 percent
• Suero is getting to the line like no other in the nation. He has tied two other players in the nation for the most free-throws attempted (112) and is third for the most made (93).
• Aronhalt's 89.7 shooting percentage from the line has put him tied for 23rd in the nation.
Last Time Out
• The Great Danes continued their winning streak at home to four games over Dartmouth, 82-74, on Friday, Dec. 23.
• Gerardo Suero scored 23 points and grabbed three boards. This was Suero's eighth 20-plus point game this season and fourth consecutive.
