High School
Lopano was a four-year letter winner at Croton Harmon, where she served as team captain for three years. In 2012, she placed third in the Division II discus throw at New York State Championships. She was a four-time North Country New First-Team discus selection, a four-time All-Section I Class B discus selection, and was named team MVP in 2010. Additionally, she holds a school record in the 4x100 relay, and lettered three years in soccer.

Lopano. She has one brother, George. Two of her cousins, Carrie and Allison Ennis, graduated
UAlbany in the class of ‘97 and ‘98 respectively.
