The women won their ninth-straight, and 11th-overall, America East Indoor title in 2021-22, returning to action after the cancelled 2020-21 season. The women won three events at conference championships, including Ludith Campos' weight throw in which she set a new school and championship meet record. In total, the women set eight varsity and freshman records during the indoor season, including the 4x200m relay team in UAlbany's first appearance at the Millrose Games since 2015. Dominique Clarke personally set freshman records five times in the 60m and 200m, combined. By the end of the season, the women had a high-water mark of eighth in the Northeast Regional poll, and held six Northeast top-8 performances.
