How it Happened:
- UAlbany looked to go ahead with a minute on the clock in the first quarter, but could not convert on a 40-yard field goal.
- The Tigers put the first points on the board with 6:46 remaining in the first half. Ty Ciongoli found Joey Wassler for a five-yard score, capping an eight-play, 80-yard drive.
- Two minutes later, the Great Danes turned the ball over on down on botched punt attempt, giving the Princeton offense a short field at the UAlbany 19-yard line.
- The Tigers converted on that drive when Kai Honda ran it around the edge from five yards out. The extra point was no good after a bad hold, keeping the score 13-0.
- Princeton scored on their opening drive coming out of the locker room, going 70 yards on seven plays. Kai Honda ran it in for his second score of the afternoon. Princeton went for two, but were unsuccessful, making it 19-0.
- The score was pushed to 25-0 with just under five minutes remaining in the third on a three-yard pass , but was taken off the board after further review. A Princeton 15-yard penalty backed the Tigers off the goal line, limiting the damage to a 32-yard field goal, 22-0.
- UAlbany was able to march all the way to the one-yard line to start the fourth, but could not punch it in.
