HOW IT HAPPENED
- A kill by Mina Benucci powered the Great Danes for an 8-3 lead early on.
- However, the Huskies answered back with an 11-2 scoring run and ran away with the lead, 17-11.
- After being down by six, UAlbany fought back with a 7-1 point run for the set advantage, 23-22.
- Northeastern denied the Great Danes' comeback and sealed the set one win.
- Set two started out evenly matched as each team exchanged points, but the Huskies held a one-point lead over the Great Danes, 15-14.
- Set two remained neck-and-neck, but three consecutive kills gave momentum to UAlbany as they won set two.
- In similar fashion, set three started out close as the Great Danes had a narrow advantage over the Huskies, 15-14.
- A three-point scoring streak, including two kills by Campbell Robinson, gave UAlbany the late lead.
- The Great Danes secured the match advantage, 2-1, after a set-three win.
