SHORT STORY: The Great Danes started the match strong, but the Raiders responded with three consecutive set wins to take the match, Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Set one started out close between UAlbany and Colgate, but the Raider's 5-1 scoring run led them to be the first team to 15 points.
- The Great Danes took the lead with a 7-1 scoring run that included kills from Pinar Erol and freshman Lily Lott and blocks from Campbell Robinson and Sabrina Kinkaid.
- After being down by four, Colgate fought back for a one-point deficit, 23-22, but UAlbany sealed the set with two final points, including a solo block from junior Mina Benucci.
- Colgate opened set two scoring three consecutive points, but UAlbany followed and scored four straight points of their own.
- A four-point scoring run gave the Raiders the set advantage, 15-11.
- UAlbany began to cut the deficit with five consecutive points, but their comeback fell short as a service error gave Colgate set two, 25-22.
- The Raiders had the momentum in set three as they held a four-point lead over the Great Danes in the first half.
- Three consecutive kills from Erol, Benucci, and Addy Bianchini made it a one-point deficit, 18-17.
- Consistently just behind Colgate, UAlbany remained one point behind, 24-23, after scoring two but it was the Raiders coming out with the set win.
- The Raiders started set four with a 7-0 advantage in the first half.
- Colgate sealed the match with a dominant fourth set, 25-15.
