HOW IT HAPPENED
- To start set one, UAlbany and Dartmouth exchanged points, until the Great Danes found their groove and went on a 8-1 scoring run.
- UAlbany eventually took set one for the match advantage over the Big Green.
- Dartmouth responded by scoring eight consecutive points in the first half of set two, 9-3.
- After a dominant second set, the Big Green secured the win, 25-12, and tied the match at 1-1.
- The third set between the two teams was the closest to that point, but Dartmouth held down the lead, 17-13.
- A kill by Campbell Robinson erased the deficit and tied the set at 19-19.
- Dartmouth denied UAlbany a comeback and secured a 2-1 match lead.
- Set four proved to be the closest set of the match as the Big Green and Great Danes went back-and-fourth in the first half. UAlbany held a one point advantage as the first team to 15.
