Football Announces New Class

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany football program has officially announced the new class of Great Danes to join the team ahead of the 2025 season. The list includes 22 new student-athletes in total, including 11 freshmen and 11 transfers. 

The Great Danes are ready to return to Tom & Mary Casey Stadium for another exciting season, once again welcoming five teams to the Capital Region. UAlbany's first home contest is scheduled for Sept. 20 with a rematch against Cornell. Other home opponents include archrival Stony Brook (Oct. 4), Rhode Island (Oct. 18), Bryant (Nov. 8), and Towson (Nov. 15). 
 

Season ticket deposits for the 2025 University at Albany football season are now being accepted. Returning season ticket holders can log into their Ticket Return accounts now to renew their packages for 2025. Fans looking to purchase new packages can put down a deposit of $25 (per seat) and will be contacted for seat selection prior to any general public on-sale date.
