Football Senior Day – Need to Know

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany football team returns to the confines of Tom & Mary Casey Stadium this Saturday as the team hosts Towson for Senior Day. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. with coverage on FloCollege and 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio.

Senior Day

This Saturday is Senior Day, where the team will recognize 24 seniors that have given their all to the program. Each senior will be honored during a pre-game celebration. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure they catch the celebration. 

Quick Notes: Scouting the Great Danes

  • The Great Danes come into game 11 with a 1-9 record. The team is 0-6 in CAA play.
  • The team is averaging 15.10 points per game with opponents averaging 32.70 points.
  • The UAlbany offense is averaging 85.2 rushing yards and 196.5 passing yards each contest.
  • Jack Shields has been the team’s main quarterback. This season, Shields has thrown for 1,592 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
  • UAlbany’s top running backs have been Jojo Uga and Griffin Woodell. Uga has rushed for 308 yards on 69 carries, averaging 4.2 yards per carry. Woodell has rushed for 312 yards on 67 attempts, averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
  • Defensively, the team is allowing an average of 170.0 rushing yards and 206.60 passing yards per game.
  • Balansama Kamara leads the team with 13.0 tackles for loss, including 7.0 sacks.

 

Quick Notes: Scouting the Tigers

  • The Tigers visit Casey Stadium with a 4-6 overall record, having gone 2-4 in conference play. 
  • The team has suffered CAA losses to Elon, #11 Monmouth, Stony Brook, and #8 Villanova. 
  • The team is averaging 25.0 points per game while allowing an average of 25.10 points. 
  • The Towson offense has averaged 99.9 rushing yards and 235.60 passing yards per game. Defensively, the team has allowed an average of 182.5 rushing yards and 206.60 passing yards. 
  • Freshman quarterback Andrew Indorf has been the signal caller for the Tigers for at least part of every game thus far for the Tigers. He has so far passed for 1952 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. 
  • Al Wooten II is Towson’s main running back, accumulating 369 yards on the ground. Through the air, Jaceon Doss has been the go-to with 639 yards and five touchdowns. 
  • Defensive lineman Aaron Clark ranks at the top of the team with 6.0 tackles for loss.

Tickets can be purchased via UAlbany's online ticketing system, Ticket Return. Single game parking passes are also available and can be added to your ticket order.
 
Reminder for fans, UAlbany Athletics is fully cashless and utilizes digital ticketing. Fans are encouraged to save game tickets and parking passes to mobile wallets in advance of games. Did you say students are FREE?

UAlbany students are able to attend ALL UAlbany home events for free. To secure a ticket for any football home game, students are directed to download the official UAlbany Sports App from the Apple Store or from Google Play. Students will be asked to provide their UAlbany credentials when logging in to claim their free ticket. It’s highly encouraged that students do this ahead of time to ensure a smooth check in at the gates. 

 

Students can also purchase student guest tickets through the app to ensure that they sit with any friends who decide to join them at UAlbany football games throughout the season. 

2025 Football Parking Map

Parking

The grass fields located adjacent to Tom & Mary Casey Stadium will once again serve as gameday parking for the 2025 season. Parking costs $15 if purchased in advance and will cost $20 on gameday. To purchase your parking pass in advance, click here

Parking Must Knows

  • Entry: The entrance to the Grass Lot is located near the right field line of Varsity Field (Baseball Complex) off of University Drive East.
  • "Festival Style" Parking: Parking spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Grass Lot. Fans will be flagged into the next available parking spot.  If fans plan to tailgate in groups, they are encouraged to arrive at the stadium together.
  • Tailgating: There will be ten foot "islands" between parking rows in the Grass Lot where fans will be able to tailgate. All University Tailgating Policies still apply, to view these policies click here.
  • Broadview Lot (Located next to Casey Stadium): The Broadview Lot will continue to utilize hang tag passes and is not available for single game day purchases.
