Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Grand Opening Success, Volleyball Beats Iona in Three

LOCATION: PE Gym - Albany, N.Y.

SHORT STORY: Fans packed the gym as the Great Danes ended the opening day of the UAlbany Invitational with a win.

COACH JOSH PICKARD: "I'm very happy with how the team played today. We had different people step up in each match and it was a great team effort. Our morning match was a good test against a big team and we definitely learned some things. The evening was against a really scrappy team that forced us to be ready at all times. It's an exciting thing to be part of a team who got their first win in a newly renovated gym. We were very happy to be home."
