Meet Notes
- Leann Nicholas' mark in the triple jump satisfies the Junior World Championship qualifying standard. Junior World's take place in August in Cali, Colombia. Nicholas further set the freshman class record in the event, surpassing the previous mark of 40-01.50 set last season by teammate Rebeca Valerie Barrientos Alpha, and how ranks second in program history. Nicholas only took her first two of six permitted jumps, and would have won with her first mark, 41-06.50, over runner-up Destiny Copeland from Indiana Tech, 40-11.00.
- Travis Robinson has moved into second place in program history in the men's discus, just six inches behind the program record of 184-00.00 set in 2004 by Brandon Howlett.
Next: Penn Relays concludes Saturday, and the bulk of the Great Danes will compete at RPI's Capital District Classic.
