SCORE: Stetson 61, UAlbany 40

LOCATION: Cox Pavilion - Las Vegas, Nevada

RECORDS: UAlbany 3-4, 0-0 America East | Stetson 4-3, 0-0 ASUN

SHORT STORY: After a close first quarter, the Great Danes were unable to overcome a double-digit lead from the second quarter and fell, 61-40, to Stetson, Sunday afternoon.

COACH COLLEEN MULLEN: "The experience of playing in a tournament-style MTE was valuable for our team. The quick turnarounds, limited preparation time, and lack of recovery is very challenging. This will only make us better and stronger as the season progresses. We will focus on resting before traveling to Canisius."

  • Graduate student Ellen Hahne and senior Fatima Lee follow with seven points each.
  • Sophomore Abby Ray added a team-high two steals while senior Grace Heeps topped the Great Danes with three assists.
