• Nassim Ramdani placed fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase in 10:49.01
• The 4x100m relay 'A' team of Lucas Casab, Xandre Blake, Jan Michael Gutierrez Almedina, and Garfield Napier place second in a new school record of 40.49; the 'B' team of Jamel Edwards, Michael Hermance, Blaise Umuhuza, and Jowell Dixon, placed fourth in 41.75
• Brandon Garcia placed second in the 1,500m in a personal-best 3:54.40
• Dawshawn Williams placed fourth in the 110m hurdles in 15.08; Easton Reagan placed seventh in 15.52
• Gutierrez Almedina placed third in the 400m in a personal-best 47.27
• Edwards placed fifth in the 100m in 11.05; Hermance placed eighth in 11.15
• Jakob Greenwood placed seventh in the 800m in 1:59.72; Dean Athanailos placed eighth in 2:00.79

Field Event Results

• Travis Robinson won the discus in a new freshman record 171-03.00; Bryan Nicholson placed second in 159-00.00
• Louis Gordon won the long jump in a new freshman record 24-07.75; Edwards placed fourth in 22-00.25, and Sturdivant placed fifth in 21-11.50

Meet Notes

• The men's 4x100m mark surpasses the previous school record of 40.53 set in 2012 by the team of Earnest Waters, Rashawn Simpson, Jake Rachiele, and Jonathan Santana.
• Travis Robinson's mark in the discus surpasses the previous freshman record of 168-02.00 set by teammate Bryan Nicholson in 2018.
• Louis Gordon's long jump mark surpasses three freshman record marks in program history.  It sets a new outdoor freshman record, previously 23-08.00 set in 2007 by Kyle Nadler.  It surpasses the wind-aided outdoor best mark of 23-11.75 set in 1995 by Anthony Davenport.  Finally, it surpasses the indoor and overall freshman record of 24-06.25 set in 2014 by Youssef Benzamia.  Gordon now holds the third-best outdoor and overall long jump mark in program history.

Next: UAlbany's multis athletes will get their first cracks at the full heptathlon and decathlon next week at home, while the remainder of the team will make second trip to the University of Virginia for the Virginia Challenge.
