BOSTON – University at Albany freshman Katie Pascale was named America East Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career, the conference office announced Monday.
 
Pascale, a midfielder from Baldwinsville, N.Y., scored five goals and recorded one assists in two games last week, victories over St. Bonaventure and Colgate.  She scored her first goal as a Great Dane with 18:15 left in the first half against St. Bonaventure to put UAlbany up 4-2, and finished the game with two goals and one assist.  For an encore, Pascale scored a hat trick against Colgate.
 
UAlbany is next scheduled to play UConn on March 4.
