Men's Lacrosse Announces Signing Day Recruits

ALBANY, N.Y. – University at Albany men’s lacrosse head coach Scott Marr has announced the addition of the first eight players to the Great Danes’ squad for the 2023 season. The class features three attack, two midfielders, two defenders, and one goalkeeper.

The eight future Great Danes will join a program that has won nine America East titles, and most recently advanced to their 15th America East title game since 2003.  In 2021, the Great Danes led Division I in assists per game (10.23), and ranked third in points per game (24.08), while holding additional national top-10 rankings in clearing percentage, ground balls per game, shot percentage, and man-up offense.  From last year's team, the Great Danes return their second and third-leading scorers in Corey Yunker and Graydon Hogg.
