Albany, N.Y.- Ariana Parker and Amanda
Pollock each record a hat trick in UAlbany's loss to Boston U., 16-11, on Saturday, April 7 at
John Fallon Field. The Great Danes fall to 1-2 in the America East Conference while the Terriers
improve to 4-0 in the conference to remain on the top of the standings.
UAlbany (8-4, 1-2 AE)?opened up the first
half with its largest lead of the half, 6-2, with 18:03 remaining. The Great Danes would score
three in a row in a span of four minutes, two by Parker and one by Mel Rorie.
Boston U. (8-4, 4-0 AE) came back with
two goals to cut the deficit to two, 6-4, with 14:05 left in the half. Kristen Mogavero would
score her 20th goal of the season to bring the Terriers within two.
The Great Danes ended the half scoring
three more goals to put the lead up to five, 9-4. The run was capped with Parker recording the
game's first hat trick and her 30th of the season.
The Terriers, in the second half, went on
an offensive surge by going on a 9-1 run in a 23-minute span. Mary Collins scored three of her
five goals in that stretch.
UAlbany cut into the deficit, 15-11,?at
6:47 with Amanda Pollock's 20th goal of the season. The Great Danes would not be able to
muster up any more offensive opportunites as the Terriers would force three turnovers to hold
on to the lead.

on Saturday, April 14 at John Fallon Field.
