BOSTON – University at Albany baseball's Dylan Banner has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Banner anchored the UAlbany pitching staff in the series against UMass Lowell, tossing a complete game while allowing just two runs on nine hits across 9.0 innings. He struck out six without issuing a walk, consistently working ahead in counts and limiting scoring opportunities. His command and efficiency helped set the tone for the weekend and played a key role in the Great Danes' series victory.

Banner's honor marks UAlbany's second America East weekly award of the 2026 season.
