BOSTON – UAlbany baseball's Luke Filippi has been named the America East Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Filippi paced the UAlbany offense against Big 12 competition, hitting .385 with a team-best .615 slugging percentage while consistently delivering quality at-bats throughout the four-game set in Lubbock. He recorded multiple hits during the weekend and provided key offensive production against one of the nation's top pitching staffs.

Filippi's honor marks UAlbany's first America East weekly award of the 2026 season.
