HOMECOMING WEEKEND
While campus will host a variety of events throughout Homecoming Weekend—including reunions, tours, and alumni gatherings—it all culminates on Saturday afternoon at Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. Past and present Great Danes will come together in the stands to pack the stadium, unite as one community, and cheer on the UAlbany football team as they take the field against Delaware State at 3:30 p.m.

GREAT DANE GAMEDAY MOVES TO FIELD CLUB
The premier fan experience upgrade of the 2026 season is Great Dane Game Day, presented by Pepsi, moving inside of Casey Stadium with direct access to both the Broadview and Grass parking lots during pregame. Great Dane Game Day now opens 2.5 hours prior to kickoff in the Field Club area and is free and open to the general public with no game ticket required for entry. The area will feature music by Vara DJs, local food and beverage trucks, family games, inflatables, and field-level views of team warmups. Approximately 40 minutes prior to kickoff, fans will be asked to exit the Field Club and head to the main gates to scan their tickets and pass through security. Once inside, ticketed fans can return to the Field Club to enjoy full food and beverage concessions while watching the game just steps from the action.

UPDATED PREGAME TIMELINEÂ
Fans are encouraged to lock in their tailgate, head into Casey Stadium early, and be in their seats well before kickoff to catch every moment of the updated pregame schedule. Teams will take the field for warmups approximately 60 minutes prior to kickoff, followed by a pregame performance from the Marching Great Danes, UAlbany Cheer, and UAlbany Dance teams approximately 20 minutes before game start. The official team intro video will air six minutes prior, leading directly into the Great Danes taking the field. The coin toss featuring team captains from both squads will take place immediately following the entrance, culminating with the playing of the National Anthem right before kickoff with the Great Danes lined up on the field.

Located in the grass lots positioned right next to Casey Stadium, UAlbany's gameday parking setup offers an incredible tailgating atmosphere just steps from the field. Moving gameday parking directly adjacent to the stadium has created a shorter walk, higher energy, and a premier environment for Great Danes fans to gather before kickoff.

The UAlbany offense enters Saturday's matchup behind a balanced ground-and-air attack, averaging 171.2 rushing yards and 160.6 passing yards per game while controlling the clock for over 33 minutes of possession per contest. Defensively, the Great Danes have proven disruptive in opponent backfields, compiling 24.0 total tackles for loss and eight sacks while holding opponents to just 121.4 rushing yards per game through their first five contests.
- Balanced Ground Attack: UAlbany's offense and run defense have set the tone early. The Great Danes average 171.2 rushing yards per game while holding opponents to just 121.4 yards on the ground through five contests.
- Koch Leading the Backfield: Running back Joey Koch continues to lead the ground game, pacing the squad with 308 rushing yards on 46 carries—averaging an impressive 6.7 yards per attempt—along with two touchdowns.
- Dynamic Backfield Tandem: Tailback Rahshan La Mons provides a powerful double punch, rushing for 294 yards (4.3 avg) and two scores while pacing the team with 415 all-purpose yards.

Delaware State comes to Capital Region action carrying a 3-2 overall record, leaning on a high-powered dual-threat offense averaging 384.4 total yards and 25.4 points per game. The Hornets have shown dynamic playmaking capability on the ground (172.2 rushing yards per game) and through the air (212.2 passing yards per game), while their front seven has generated 13.0 sacks and 32.0 tackles for loss through five games.
- Dual-Threat Signal Caller: Quarterback Ui Ale directs the Hornets' offense, passing for 972 yards and four touchdowns while adding a team-high 239 rushing yards and three scores on 31 carries (7.7 avg).
- Deep Backfield Rotation: Running backs Jayden Jenkins (173 yards, 2 TD) and Sean Weston Jr. (143 yards, 2 TD) complement Ale in a versatile rushing attack that averages 5.1 yards per attempt and has produced 12 rushing touchdowns.
