How it Happened:
- Delanie Hill got the scoring started for UAlbany with a three-pointer early in the first.
- New Hampshire answered back with an 8-2 run that put the Wildcats up 8-5 halfway through the first quarter.
- The Great Danes outscored UNH 8-5 as the quarter came to a close, highlighted by four points from Gabriella Falcao to even it up at 13 heading into the second.
- Each offense started the frame hot by scoring a combined 13 points in the first two and a half minutes, with New Hampshire holding a 21-18 advantage with 7:44 remaining.
- Both teams tallied 11 points as the first half came to a close with the Wildcats maintaining their three point lead, 30-27.
- Just over a minute into the second half, Martina Borellas hit a three to even the score at 32 each. UNH responded with a 9-2 run that lasted three minutes and pushed the score to 41-34.
- Following a UAlbany timeout, New Hampshire continued to expand its lead by outscoring the Great Danes 6-3 as the third came to a close to make the score 47-37 heading into the fourth quarter.
- UAlbany started the fourth quarter hot when they scored six unanswered, including four from Hill, and forced three turnovers to cut the lead to 47-43 with 6:22 left in the game.
- After a UNH timeout, the Wildcats found their footing and pushed the lead to 56-48 with just under three minutes to go.
