ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany cross country program has announced its competition schedule for the 2025 season.

The Great Danes are set to compete in four meets in preparation for the 2025 America East Championships.

For the third consecutive season, UAlbany will begin the season at the Marist Invitational in Poughkeepsie (Aug. 30). Two weeks later, the Great Danes will compete in a location - Twin Ponds - for the Jasper Invitational, hosted by Manhattan.

Halfway through the season, the Purple and Gold will get a sneak peek at the championship course with the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival (Oct. 10).

Just one week later, UAlbany will compete in the IC4A/ECAC race at a familiar location - Van Cordtlandt Park in New York City.

October 31 will see the product of the Great Danes' preparation in the America East Championship. Held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Contoocook, New Hampshire, the Wildcats will host the championship meet for the first time since 2021.

Following the AE Championships, UAlbany could return to Hopkinton Fairgrounds for the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on November 14. Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA Championships at the University of Missouri on November 22.
