SHORT STORY: The UAlbany cross country programs were led by
Skyler Smith and
Owen Stachlik, respectively, at Blue Sky Sports Complex, Saturday afternoon.
KEY NOTES
- Skyler Smith tabbed the highest finish of any Great Dane, finishing ninth and leading the women's team to an eighth-place finish.
- Arianna Verardi, Cara Mastan, and Naomi Burinska all improved upon their 2025 performances at the Jasper Fall Invitational. Burinska had the largest improvement, beating her previous time by over 40 seconds.
- Owen Stachlik led the men's side for the second year in a row in Middletown, placing 65th.
- The women's scoring gap was 1:55.51, while the men's scoring gap was 2:17.48.
