SHORT STORY: Three women and two men led their respective teams with top-10 finishes at the Marist Season Opener, Friday evening.
KEY NOTES
- Skyler Smith won the race to lead UAlbany to a second place finish.
- Arianna Verardi and Nicole Samson finished back-to-back to make it three women in the top 10.
- Jerry Lewis led the men with a second-place finish while Isaac Graber made it two men in the top 10 with a ninth-place finish. Lewis improved upon his 2025 time at the same course by five seconds.
- All three women who competed at Vassar Farm in 2025 improved upon their times.
- The men's scoring gap was under a minute (58.4) and the women's scoring gap was 1:23.6.
