SHORT STORY: The Great Danes earned their second sweep of the season with a dominant 3-0 victory over Robert Morris, highlighted by strong performances from both veterans and newcomers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UAlbany wasted no time finding momentum, using kills from Harris, Myhal, and Wilson to open a 15-7 advantage.Â
- Malek delivered back-to-back aces to extend the margin before Woroniuk secured the frame with her third kill of the set at 25-14.
- The Great Danes and Colonials traded points in the second, with Robert Morris tying the score at 14-14.Â
- Harris responded with three kills in a four-point stretch, and Wilson added a key swing late.Â
- Woroniuk finished it off with a kill down the line as UAlbany pulled away, 25-22.
- Balanced offense carried UAlbany in the third, highlighted by a Harden kill and a Harris swing to push the lead to 15-10.Â
- Karman's efficiency in the middle and a Malek service ace kept the Danes in control.Â
- Wilson put the finishing touch on the sweep with her sixth kill, closing it 25-17.
NEXT: The Great Danes return home to host the UAlbany Invitational on Sept. 4-6. UAlbany will face Syracuse on Thursday at 6 PM for their home opener then move on to see Cornell on Friday and Canasius on Saturday.
