RICHMOND – Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Football has honored 872 student-athletes as members of the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2025 spring semester. In total, 46 members of the UAlbany football team were named to the list.
 
The conference now honors student-athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors.
 
One Great Dane represented UAlbany with High Honors with distinction, eight were represented with high honors, and 37 were represented with honors.
 
From the CAA as a whole, 53 student-athletes earned High Honors with Distinction, 183 achieved High Honors, and 636 received Honors.
 
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student.
