Leading the Pack

• Ryan Ferremi is leading the Danes' offense, hitting .319 with eight doubles, three home runs, 18 RBIs, a .480 on base percentage and a .980 OPS.
• Levi McAllister has come on strong lately, batting .242 while leading the team in home runs (6), RBIs (23), and slugging percentage (.561).
• Dylan Banner leads the pitching staff with a 3-2 record, and through 48.1 innings has a 3.72 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 32 strikeouts.

Last Time Out 

• The Great Danes played their third conference series this past weekend against NJIT, dropping all three games.
• On Friday (4/4), Dylan Banner held NJIT to only three runs through seven innings, but NJIT's pitching staff stifled the Danes hitters and held them to only one run.
• On Sunday (4/6) UAlbany came back from a 2-0 deficit in the sixth inning to go up 4-2, but a late rally from NJIT proved to be too much and led to a 7-5 NJIT win.
• As a team, the Danes are hitting .251 with a .378 OB% and a .346 SLG%.
• On the mound, UAlbany has a 7.90 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and 156 strikeouts through 215.1 innings.

 Scouting Marist 

• The Red Foxes have started their season 13-15 losing two against Canisius this past weekend.
• Marist is led offensively by Jason Claiborn and Kyle Pollack. In 94 at bats Claiborn is hitting .319, with a .916 OPS, 30 hits, and four doubles. Pollack is hitting .313 in 80 at bats, with a .902 OPS, 25 hits and a team leading .475 SLG%.
• On the mound Marist is led by Will Taylor and Caleb Kempler. Taylor has a 3.27 ERA through 41.1 innings pitched and in 12 appearances Kempler has a 3.13 ERA.
• Overall, the Red Foxes are hitting .253 with 11 homers, and through 229.1 innings pitched have a 5.87 ERA with 212 strikeouts.

Captains 

Dylan Banner, Ryan Ferremi and Matthew Mariano will serve as captains for the Great Danes during the 2025 season. Banner, a junior right-handed pitcher throughout his career, holds a career ERA of 4.31 over 64.2 innings. Prior to the season, Banner was named a Preseason All-Conference selection. Ferremi, a senior infielder has a career average of .256 with 55 hits and 10 doubles. Mariano, a Redshirt Junior right-handed pitcher from Clifton Park, N.Y., has a career 7.80 ERA through 25 appearances. 
 
2025 America East Preseason Poll 

• UAlbany was picked to finish seventh in the 2025 America East Preseason Poll, earning seven points. 
• Bryant was picked to finish first in the conference with 35 points, including five first-place votes. 
• Binghamton, followed closely behind with 30 points and two first-place votes. 
• Maine (21) placed third, NJIT (21) fourth, and UMass Lowell (18) fifth. 
• UMBC (15) and UAlbany rounded out the poll.
