GREAT DANE REWIND
  • The Great Danes participated in the Make it Happen games in Madeira Beach, Fla. They played to a 1-4 record last week and picked up their first win of the season against Bethune-Cookman (3/2) in an extra-inning affair. 
  • Four players finished the weekend batting over .300 - freshman Charlotte Lomb, freshman Ava Bael, freshman Sara Scozzari, and freshman Kaitlyn Parisi. Lomb is batting .412 on the year while Beal is a perfect 3-3 at the plate. 
  • Redshirt-senior Kate Powers leads the team in ERA while freshman Hailey Errichiello leads the team in both innings pitched (23.0) and strikeouts (13).
 
ABOUT MANHATTAN
  • The Jaspers have started their season 0-8. They enter this weekend still searching for their first win of the year. 
  • They participated in the Dr. Diana Natalicio Memorial Tournament hosted by UTEP where they played Montana (2/14), UTEP (2/14-15), and Northern Colorado (2/16).
  • At the plate, Manhattan is led by Angelina Gencarelli who is batting .381. Michayla Rodriguez and Sophia Kiseloski are both batting over .300.
  • Kiseloski is leading the team with one home run. 
  • In the circle, the Jaspers are led by Karissa Spring who leads the team in both innings pitched (23.1) and strikeouts (18). 
 
ABOUT GEORGE WASHINGTON
  • The Revolutionaries have started the season 7-7 while participating in the Blue Hose Invitational (2/7-9), UNCG Invitational (2/21-23), and the Texas A&M Invitational (2/28-3/1).
  • Their biggest wins of the year have come against UNCG (2/23) and Presbyterian (2/8).
  • At the plate, the Revs are led by two hitters batting over .400 - Ashley Corpuz (.447) and Allison Heffley (.410). Corpuz holds the team lead in home runs with six and in doubles with five. 
  • In the circle, Cece Smith leads the team with 34.0 innings pitched while Anna Reed leads with 34 strikeouts.

  • The Great Danes were picked to finish first in the 2025 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll
  • UAlbany earned 23 points with three first-place votes.
  • Binghamton was close behind UAlbany with 22 points and two first-place votes.
  • Kate Powers and Mary Kate Murray made the first-ever preseason all-conference team.

  • Binghamton leads the conference with the only winning record (11-5).
  • Bryant follows just under .500 (6-8).
  • Three teams are tied with two wins each - UMass Lowell, Maine, and UMBC. The River Hawks hold a slight edge with nine losses to the Black Bears' and the Retrievers' 11.
  • UAlbany rounds out the conference with a 1-9 record.
